What we record & how we use it

This is research, not an order or subscription. No name or contact details are required to participate. We record submitted answers, ZIP code, save time, approximate device/browser/operating system, language, time zone, screen viewport, completion time and referral/campaign source where available. Device context is approximate; ZIP is self-reported, not GPS.

We do not collect precise location, record typing, fingerprint your device, link answers to your account, or store raw IPs in survey responses. Short-lived hashed connection keys help prevent spam. Hosting providers may keep separate access logs, so complete technical anonymity cannot be guaranteed.

Responses are kept for up to 24 months, technical context 90 days, optional availability-update contacts up to 12 months or until removed after the update. Private snapshots expire separately after 30 days. Backup/expiry maintenance runs when the survey is used, not on an unattended schedule. Nothing is sent until you press Submit survey.
